It started with a Nikon Coolpix.
My dad handed it to me when I was a kid, and I never really put a camera down again — I just kept chasing the next frame. Years of that turned into a craft, and the craft turned into BIMVAA STUDIO.
I'm Bishal Singh, and I work in both stills and film. Not as two separate services bolted together, but as one way of seeing. A photograph holds a single frame still; film lets it breathe and move. I shoot them the same way — patient, deliberate, reading the light and the room before I read the shot list. The result leans moody and cinematic, because that's how I see, not because it's a setting I switch on.
I'm genre-agnostic on purpose. Weddings, portraits, brand and commercial work, editorial, events — the subject changes, the eye doesn't. A wedding gets the same attention as a brand campaign: figure out what's actually happening in front of me, then make images worth keeping.
I'm based in Denistone East in Sydney's Inner West and I work across all of Sydney by appointment. If the job calls for it, I'll travel. Everything is one-to-one — when you book BIMVAA, I'm the one who turns up, shoots, and hands back the work. No account managers, no second-string shooter.

Are you a photographer or a videographer?
Both. I work in stills and film as a single craft and give them equal emphasis, so you can book photography, film, or both from one person.
Where are you based and what areas do you serve?
I'm based in Denistone East in Sydney's Inner West (NSW 2112) and I serve all of Sydney. Sessions are by appointment.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes — I'm available to travel depending on the job. Let me know your location and I'll confirm whether travel is included or quoted.
How much do you charge?
Pricing is quoted on enquiry and built around your shoot — the hours of coverage, location, and whether you want stills, film or both. Send me the details and I'll come back with options.
Can I book photo and film together?
Yes, and it's a core part of what I offer. Because I shoot both myself, your stills and film share one visual style and the coverage is coordinated by default — no separate crews to manage.
